xavi jose

Born in Barcelona on May 6, 1979, Xavi José was encouraged by his grandfather who was a projectionist, to attend film school. After gaining a Master of photography diploma in which he made his thesis film, Transiciones.
He then started as a Camara Assitant in commercials, promos and documentaries in Madrid. Later he moved to Berlin where he refined his work as a director of photography and still photographer.
His work has been screened in festivals around the world, including IDFA in Amsterdam, Dokfest in Munich, Miami Film Festival, Toronto Film Fesival as well as festivals in Switzerland and France.
He is currently finishing his second feature film.
