Yor favorite place in NY?

You mean for you to experience and shoot? What do you shoot?

My favorite place in New York? My house; it has all my stuff in it. On the other hand, my house is not the coolest place to shoot-my air conditioner is not working correctly-so you might want to stick to the city, where there is always something cool to shoot, as opposed to my house, where the only thing I want to shoot are the goddam deer eating my hedges.

Might come and give that air conditioner a shot..

Erica: I was thinking in the broad sense; Great places to shoot to look to listen, galleries with The Great Icons of photography or just a funny owner, bars, cafes, streets, laundromats, parkinghouses. Just anything that inspires YOU or gives pleasure in YOUR professional eyes! Going to THE photo capital in the world i was hoping to hear from some photographers who take pride in their city and wanna share its secrets.

Metropolitan Museum of Art…Central Park…Chinatown…Coney Island (Mermaid Parade 6/21)…Staten Island Ferry…Chelsea galleries…Soho…Tribeca…Dumbo…yadda,yadda,yadda!

Wherever no stupid photographers have been, for decades. The inverse of the tourist map. The don’t go there because you shouldn’t parts.

Hey Stupid- just what i am talking about. But it is a big city and i have a small son to haul around so perhaps a little hint to where to look..

Yankee Stadium it will be gone at the end of the season. Go see something that is about to become extinct.

Had you said you have a small son to haul around, I’d have never stupidly spoken up. Take a double decker bus tour of the city with him, sit on top, and when it’s over you’ll have an idea where you do and don’t want to go with him.
