Open Show Paris is an open stage for photographers and filmmakers. We show projects away from the mainstream and bring people forward who have a story to tell.
Open Show has no commercial objectives and would especially like projects that deserve attention and bring like-minded people together. Open Show was founded in 2008 in San Francisco and is currently held in 25 cities worldwide decentralized regular evenings of art, sharing and inspiration. The selected ahead of us artists show via digital projection image or footage of a selected project. The visitors and the presenters are amateurs and professionals, art lovers and those who want to be there, old, young, urban, educated, interesting and interested.
The Nuits Photographiques is the result of an original and novel idea to create an event in France that would promote, distribute and provide creative support for photo-film.
This evolving discipline, which is a cross between film and photography, uses new multimedia communication channels bringing together photographers, directors, sound designers and illustrators.
The idea of presenting our festival outdoors in a Paris garden, is a result of our wish to show, to hear, and share works of art in the public space.
Our ability to share and make these films available in a free location in the heart of 20th district of Paris is an essential part of our identity.
