travelling to Egypt

Am wondering if its worth taking full kit with me to Egypt or just the bare essentials? ie, do i really want to lug 70-200mm and will this cause problems at customs /security etc?

i don`t think you will have any problems with the security.
I always carry my full equipment with me as i cover a lot of different stuff on a venue.

2 Cameras is obligatory for me (to give an example)

Hey – I am here now – in Cairo. Full kit is fine. I normally walk around with just a prime lense but have both prime and zoom if need be.

Hi Keith,

My sister-in-law is in Cairo and was asked to do some DSLR video work there. Any recommendations on a minimal kit? Is there a problem with sticking out too much these days? I was thinking of recommending the GH2 or T4i, but know nothing about recommending kits in Cairo.

Thanks so much!
