His work has appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Washington Post, Guardian, Daily Mirror, The Age, Financial Times, Times of India, South China Morning Post, Suedeutsche Zeitung and various other national dailies.

Stuart’s photographs and features have appeared in a number of international magazines.

He has contributed to books such as “Slow Northumberland and Durham” (Bradt Guides), “Bengaluru and Karnataka” (Stark World Publications), “Indien – Eine Bildreise” and “China – Eine Bildreise” (both National Geographic) and “The Seventy Wonders of China” (Thames and Hudson) plus a number of other books.

Stuart has strong interests in travel, people, culture, history and religions.

A selection of his photographs from Zimbabwe were exhibited at Zimbabwe House, London, in November 2010. One of his images was selected for inclusion in the National Union of Journalists’ “Photography Matters” of leading news photographs from 2007 and 2008 (online at www.standupforphotojournalism.org). His work has also been exhibited at the Pingyao International Photography Festival.

He is currently available at short notice for commissions, both in the UK and abroad.

Payment from The Cover Story

About four years ago I uploaded a couple of stories to a syndication agency called The Cover Story which morphed into Storee.se a year or so ago. The agency was based in the Netherlands but moved to India even before that. Unfortunately I have not yet been paid for a feature published in September 2011, despite repeated reminders that my invoice is outstanding. I’d like to ask what kind of experiences other members of Lightstalkers have had and establish if I’m the only one here owed money.

I do not contribute work to Storee.se as they request a fee for being the platform through work is allegedly showcased.

Your views and experiences are very much welcome.
